BowlElgin.com and Bault Bowling To Conduct Recycling Program Before "Classic" Finals

Do you want to help future bowlers? Are you tired of storing multiple bowling balls that you’re never going to use again? Then it’s time to get rid of those old bowling balls, bags, shoes and other accessories that are just taking up space.

You might not have a bowling ball this old.
But you may want to donate one anyway.

This Saturday at Elgin Lanes, 402 Shepard Ave, before the finals of the Elgin Cross-Town Classic, BowlElgin.com in partnership with Bault Bowling will be accepting old bowling equipment. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

According to bowling Kyle Bault, St. Edward High School Boys bowling coach and the head of Bault Bowling, this is a chance to provide new and emerging bowlers a chance to obtain entry level to high performance equipment without the added expense.

“All donated, reusable equipment will be refurbished, and offered to area youth league bowlers and are high school bowlers,” said Bault. “We want to give the student athletes a chance to improve their bowling game without breaking the bank.”

Bowlers are encouraged to donate any used bowling equipment they do not need anymore, added Bault. All donated equipment will be distributed to bowlers from Elgin, South Elgin, Westminster Christian, Bartlett, Streamwood, St. Edward and other area High Schools.
