Bowlway Lanes (east-side) opened in 1942. A classic center with an Art Deco design, this bowling alley has 16 wood lanes still intact and in excellent condition.
Owned by brothers Bill, Greg and Norm Grocke since the early 80's, Bowlway has been host to men's, women's and mixed leagues along with local high school team bowling.
The Professional Bowlers Association has made stops to Bowlway Lanes.
And in the 80's and 90's the highly regarded Coors Classic League attracted leading bowlers from the Chicago area, including ABC Hall of Famer Alfie Cohn.
Bowlway is part of the Fox Valley Bowling Proprietors Association and the Suburban Windy City United States Bowling Association.
